FAQ

Quick answers to common questions.

The questions we get most often. If yours isn't here, email hello@skillflirt.net — we're a small team and we read every message.

Is this for guys only?

We built SkillFlirt for guys, and the brand voice and outputs are tuned that way. The tools work for anyone, but the writing style and examples assume a male user texting people he's interested in. If you're not a guy and you find it useful, great — we won't gatekeep — but the calibration is leaning that direction.

What if I'm not in the US?

The product works globally. Pricing shows in USD; Stripe handles your local currency conversion at checkout. The model handles English best (because that's the volume of training data) but works well in major European languages and OK in others. If you're texting in a non-English language and getting weak results, paste the chat with a one-line note in English explaining the context and the suggestions improve significantly.

We don't yet have localized UI. It's on the roadmap but not near-term.

Can I use this on existing matches?

Yes — the analyzer is specifically built for active conversations. Drop in the screenshot or paste the chat, get the vibe gauge and three reply suggestions calibrated to where the conversation actually is. This is the highest-value use of the tool.

Will SkillFlirt sound like me?

It tries. The Pickup Lines and Bio Writer tools learn your style over time — every output you accept (vs. regenerate) trains the calibration for your account. After ~20 generations the outputs land notably closer to your voice than the cold-start defaults.

You should still always edit one or two phrases before sending. The goal isn't to outsource your voice; it's to give yourself a strong starting draft.

What if she figures out it was AI?

Send messages that sound like you. AI rizz is detectable when it's used lazily — copy-pasted with no edits, generic em-dashes, "Listen,..." openers, the whole template flavor. That's the giveaway, not the fact that you used a tool.

If you treat SkillFlirt the way a writer treats a notes app — as a place to draft and sharpen, not as a place to lift finished text — there's nothing to detect because the words you send are still yours.

Does it support OnlyFans / Bumble BFF / Hinge prompts specifically?

  • Hinge prompts: yes, fully. Bio Writer produces prompts directly when you pick Hinge as the platform. The analyzer reads Hinge prompt-replies the same way it reads any chat.
  • Bumble BFF: the analyzer works for any text conversation regardless of mode. The voice may skew slightly more flirty than appropriate for friend-mode — adjust the tone slider down or use the "Sincere" style.
  • OnlyFans / paid messaging: we don't support workflows for sex workers. The product is for romantic/dating contexts only.

Is my data sold?

No. Period. We don't sell user data to advertisers, brokers, or anyone else. The business is funded entirely by subscriptions specifically so we never have a reason to.

Full details in the Privacy & data doc and the Privacy Policy.

How do I cancel?

Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancel in two clicks. You keep access until the end of your billing period, then drop to Free (3/day). Your data is preserved unless you delete the account separately.

We have a 7-day no-questions-asked refund — see Plans & subscriptions.

I'm under 18 — can I use this?

No. SkillFlirt is 18+ only, no exceptions, regardless of local age of majority. We confirm at sign-up. If we discover a user is under 18 we delete the account immediately.

This is a hard line for us. The tools are designed for adult dating contexts and we don't want them used in any other way.

I lost my password / can't sign in.

Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page. If that doesn't work (rare), email hello@skillflirt.net from the email address on your account and we'll help you recover.

If you signed up with Google sign-in, just use the Google sign-in button — there's no separate password to recover.
