How to use SkillFlirt: a 5-minute walkthrough.

Sign up to first reply suggestion in under five minutes. Here's the path.

Most apps make you sit through a 20-step onboarding before you do anything useful. We did the opposite: SkillFlirt is built around four tools you can hit in any order, and most users get their first useful output within five minutes of signing up.

Here's the most efficient path from "I just downloaded this" to "I sent a message that actually got a reply."

Step 1 — Sign up (30 seconds)

Hit Sign Up. Email + password, or one click with Google. Confirm you're 18+ (we don't allow under-18 use, no exceptions). You're in. No card required for the free tier.

The free tier gives you 3 generations per day across all four tools combined. That's enough to test what works. When you hit the limit, you can either wait until tomorrow or upgrade.

Step 2 — Throw an existing chat at the SkillFlirt analyzer (1 min)

This is the fastest way to feel the value. If you have an active conversation with a match that's gone cold or you don't know how to respond to, here's what to do:

  1. Go to Dashboard → SkillFlirt (the analyzer).
  2. Either screenshot the conversation and drop it on the upload area, OR paste the chat as text in the format Her: [message] / You: [message].
  3. Hit Analyze.

You get back:

  • A vibe gauge (cold, warming, engaged, hot)
  • Specific green flags (what's working in the conversation)
  • Specific red flags (what's killing the energy)
  • 3 reply suggestions calibrated to the actual temperature, with a "why it lands" line for each

Pick the one that sounds most like you. Edit two words. Send. That's the loop.

Step 3 — Generate openers for someone new (1 min)

Got a new match where you haven't sent the first message yet? Use Pickup Lines instead.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Pickup Lines.
  2. Drop in the context: what platform, what's in her bio (or paste a screenshot of her profile), anything you noticed in her photos.
  3. Pick a style chip: Witty / Smooth / Bold / Sincere / Curious / Playful.
  4. Adjust the tone slider between casual and confident.
  5. Hit Generate.

Three openers come back, each tuned to the specifics you fed it. Each one comes with a "why it lands" line so you can see what makes it work, not just copy-paste.

The right move on the first message is rarely the boldest of the three — it's the one that matches her vibe most accurately. When in doubt, pick the second option.

Step 4 — Glow up your bio (1 min)

If your match rate sucks, your bio is doing more harm than good. Open Bio Writer:

  1. Type your name, age, and 3-5 interests.
  2. Pick a vibe (witty / chill / direct / earnest).
  3. Pick the platform (Tinder, Hinge, Bumble — each gets a different cut).
  4. Hit Generate.

You get three different bios optimized for that platform. The Tinder one is three short lines. The Hinge one is structured around prompts. The Bumble one has a little more breathing room.

Pick the one closest to how you actually sound. Edit one or two phrases. Paste into the app. Done.

Step 5 — Practice with Chat Coach (1 min)

This is the underrated tool. Most people skip it because "practicing texting" sounds weird, but it's the single best way to build chat muscle without burning real matches.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Chat Coach.
  2. Pick a persona: Maya (warm, talkative, gives you signals) or Alex (cooler, sharper, harder to read).
  3. Pick a difficulty: Easy / Medium / Hard.
  4. Send a message. The persona responds. After every exchange, you get a quick scorecard: Great / Good / Okay / Off, with a one-line note on why.

Run a 5-message conversation. See where your messages land flat. Run it again with a different opener. The feedback is fast and the consequences are zero. Real conversations get easier almost immediately because you've already failed safely.

Pro tips after your first day

  • Regenerate vs. tweak. If a Pickup Lines output is 80% there, edit it yourself — don't burn another generation. The "why it lands" explanation usually tells you what to keep.
  • Tone slider matters. A "bold" pickup line at 0.2 confidence and at 0.8 confidence are very different messages. If you're matching with people who like a little more directness, push the slider right.
  • Use the analyzer as a sanity check. Before sending a long heartfelt message, paste it in and let the analyzer tell you if it's hitting the right notes. It catches the "trying too hard" energy before she does.
  • Use the trial. Every account starts with a 3-day free trial — full Standard or Platinum access, card required but $0 if you cancel before day 4. Use it. Try all four tools. Decide from there.

Standard vs. Platinum

Standard at $5.99/mo (50 generations/day, 48-hour email support) is plenty for most people — that's enough for several conversations, a couple bio refreshes, and a Chat Coach session each day without hitting the cap.

Go Platinum ($17.99/mo) when:

  • You're iterating on bios for multiple platforms or running multiple chat analyses a day.
  • You want unlimited generations — no 50/day cap to think about.
  • You want unlimited Chat Coach role-play and early access to new features.
  • You want priority support — 12-hour reply instead of 48.

Upgrade is one click in Dashboard → Settings → Subscription. Cancel is one click in the same place. We have a 7-day no-questions-asked refund if you change your mind.

That's the whole product. Four tools, one pocket, zero cringe. Get to work.

Stop sending ‘hey.’ Start landing dates.
